What a great time with great friends.

4 1/2 days and 1,534 miles for me.  Had a great time on the Ft Davis Ride.  Thanks to all that made the ride and of course David Adams for planning it.  Good times with the LSR gang!

500+ miles on the plugged tire

Made it home after about 525 miles, all but 20 with a plugged rear tire.  Got me home with no loss of air. Nice!

Flat tire 20 miles from Ft Davis

Ridden 110 miles since plugging the rear tire.  Holding well so far!

Last night of the ride.

It has been a great time with our LSR friends.  Tonight is the final night as we head home in the morning.  It will be cool heading out but should be a fine day to ride about 550 miles.

Great ride with my great friends.

I will post a complete photo album sometime soon.

Group dinner in the Blue Mountain Bistro

Ride to the MacDonald Observatory

Randy and I took an afternoon ride up to the observatory just to get some fun riding in today.  Great 34 mile up and back and we got to see the snow.

The LSR Breakfast Club - Ft Davis Chapter

The gang chillin' at breakfast on a cold and snowy/rainy day this morning.

Snow in the mountains!

We thought of taking it easy and just riding the Davis Mountain Loop today but this guy told us there is 7-8" of snow at the observatory.  Interesting day!

Snow???

We get up this morning to snow.  I did not see that coming.  It looks like it will not warm up much today (high 51) but the snow and rain should stop soon.  I am very happy that some of us hour a nice ride in yesterday.  We will find something good to do I am sure...maybe just another loop around the Davis Mountains going the other direction.  Might have to skip the observatory if it gets too cold and windy at altitude.

Mi Familia for dinner in Brady.  Good time.

Arrived in Brady

It looks like the rest of the band was already here.  Mi Familia for dinner tonight.  Nice!

Break in Stephenville

Jeff and I are taking a break in Stephenville.  Just 107 miles to go.

Time to head to Brady

Test to ride the first leg to Brady.  240 mile utility ride for today.  Let the games begin!

Today is the Day!

I am getting a little excited about heading to Brady today for the start of the first multi-day ride of the year.  A great start to what will be a great riding season.
